The official NAUPA hub links to every state’s program. Old bank accounts, deposits, uncashed checks, insurance, even savings bonds. Search every state you’ve ever lived in.
MissingMoney.com (also run by NAUPA) lets you search dozens of state databases by name in one shot, then links you to each state’s official claim process. Free.
USAGov’s hub gathers official searches in one place. Look for unpaid back wages, lost pensions, VA insurance, FHA mortgage refunds, savings bonds, and undelivered IRS refunds.
When the FTC wins a case against a company, it returns money to the people who were ripped off. See if you’re owed a refund — and remember, the FTC never charges you to get it.
Didn’t file a year you had low income? You may have left a refund (and credits like the EITC) on the table. Many people are owed refunds they never claimed.
The biggest “hidden money” of all is the help you already qualify for but never claimed. Run a free benefits check to see what you’re entitled to right now.
